Why it exists
Contractor DNA. Engineering discipline.
TradeBill comes from Trusspoint — a Nevada company with a working construction operation in Pahrump and a software engineering team in Las Vegas. The product is shaped on real jobs (estimates signed in driveways, deposits collected before the material run) and built with the discipline your money and your customers’ information demand. If a feature doesn’t survive a real job site, it doesn’t ship.
And the vault matters as much as the truck: card numbers are tokenized by our payment processor and never touch TradeBill’s servers, every customer portal link is a private per-customer credential, and each company’s data is isolated from every other’s. Fort Knox, with a job box.
How it works
From handshake to paid, in four steps.
This is the one part of TradeBill that really is a straight line — the same document moving from your mouth to their signature to your bank record.
- 1
Price the job
Tap or talk line items from your saved catalog — your wording, your prices. Send a branded PDF and a portal link in the same minute.
- 2
They sign on their phone
Your customer opens a private link — no app, no account — and approves with a drawn signature, stamped with name, date, and time.
- 3
The deposit invoice writes itself
Approval converts the estimate into an invoice automatically. Asked for a deposit? It’s already due on it.
- 4
Watch the money land
Record payments as they arrive; your customer watches the progress bar move. Late fees and recurring plans run on the schedule you set.
AI drafting — voice & paper
Say the job. Or snap it. The whole invoice writes itself.
Speak the entire estimate or invoice — who it’s for, the work, the prices — and AI drafts it: it finds the customer in your book (or preps a new one from what you said) and lays out every priced line item. Speech turns to text on the phone; job-site audio never leaves it.
Got it on paper instead? Scan a napkin estimate, a supplier quote, or an old invoice with the iPhone’s document camera and the same AI reads the page — customer, items, prices — into a draft you review before anything sticks.
“For Kathy Hafen — interior painting, three rooms… one accent wall… and a color consultation.”
- “For Kathy on Cedar Street…” — AI matches the customer to your book, and you confirm before it sticks. Scanned paper matches the same way, from the name on the page.
- Quantities and money from plain speech — “three rooms”, “twelve hundred dollars”, “two fifty a foot”. Your saved-item names and prices fill the gaps.
- Speak it or snap it — your first 10 AI drafts are included free, then Premium makes them unlimited.
The tool kit
Everything you bill with. Nothing you don’t.
Draw-to-sign approvals
Estimates and change orders get a real signature — drawn on their phone, stamped with name and time, printed on the PDF.
Change orders that keep up
Scope grew? Send a signable change order — credit line items allowed — and convert it to an invoice once it’s approved.
Recurring, deposits & late fees
Monthly service billing on autopilot, deposit asks on any estimate, partial payments, and late fees that accrue exactly the way you configured them.
PDFs that look like a real outfit
Four document templates, your logo and accent color, job photos embedded — and branded emails to match. A logo designer is built in if you don’t have one yet.
El portal de tus clientes habla español.
The customer portal and the whole app run in English and Spanish. The portal auto-detects your customer’s language — every label, date, and receipt.
A price list on day one
Pick your trade at signup — GC to roofer — and start with a dozen-plus priced, editable items instead of a blank screen.
A dashboard that keeps score
Monthly goal ring, twelve months of revenue bars, streaks and milestones — the same numbers on web and iPhone, live from your invoices.
Reports your accountant will take
A/R aging, revenue, and tax reports with CSV export. Tax time becomes an attachment, not an afternoon.
Photos that travel with the job
Attach job photos to estimates, invoices, and change orders — they show in the portal and embed in the PDF your customer downloads.
Also in the box: team members · per-customer payment terms & deposit defaults · invoice disclaimers · saved items with “/” search · invoice templates · dark mode · iPad split view · VoiceOver & Dynamic Type.
Automate your collections
Stop chasing checks. Let it nudge for you.
Turn it on once. When an invoice slips past due, TradeBill escalates on its own — a friendly reminder, then a firmer one, then a final notice — and stops the second they pay. Every message is your wording, with the invoice number, balance, and a one-tap pay link filled in.
- Email reminders on every plan — including the free one. No add-on, no per-message fee.
- Text reminders on Premium — to customers who’ve agreed to texts, STOP-compliant and consent-tracked.
- Fires once per stage per invoice, respects a grace period, and skips anyone who’s paid something in good faith.
Email reminders send today. Text reminders are built and waiting on carrier registration of our sending number — the moment it clears, they turn on for Premium.
The customer portal
What your customer sees is why you get paid.
Every estimate and invoice comes with a private portal link. It opens in the browser looking like your company — and it answers “what do I owe you?” before anyone has to call.
- A private, tokenized link — no app to install, no account, no password to forget.
- Approve & sign, decline, download — every action lands in your activity feed with a timestamp.
- English and Spanish, auto-detected, switchable anytime — your side stays in the language you prefer.
- A payment progress bar with the deposit marked on it, plus a receipt-style history of the whole job.
- Photos, documents, and PDF downloads — in your brand color, under your logo.

On the roadmap — not for sale yet.
Straight talk: subscription billing isn’t switched on yet, so early companies simply use TradeBill free while we finish it — and the free plan stays $0 either way. Card-processing rates apply when portal payments go live (below).
On deck
Built, tested, and waiting on the paperwork.
Two features are finished in the product but held for compliance sign-off. We’d rather ship them right than ship them twice.
Card payments in the portal
Your customer taps “Pay” on the invoice; you get the payout minus one flat processing rate — 2.90% + 30¢ on Free, 2.80% + 30¢ on Premium, 2.75% + 30¢ on Ultra. No monthly fee, and you can pass the processing fee through to the customer if that’s how you run.
Waiting on: payment-processor go-live.
Invoices & estimates by text
Text the portal link straight to your customer’s phone — consent-tracked per customer and STOP-compliant, because we did the homework.
Waiting on: carrier registration of our sending number.
Until then: record cash, check, and Zelle payments the way you already take them — TradeBill keeps the balances, receipts, and late fees straight.
FAQ
Straight answers.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. $0, no card, no trial cliff — 3 team members and 50 invoices a month, forever (and the invoice cap disappears entirely while you process card payments through TradeBill). If you outgrow it, Premium is $6.99 a week or $97 a year.
Do my customers need to download anything?
No. They get a private link that opens in the browser — phone or desktop. No app, no account, no password. They can read the document, sign it, download the PDF, and watch their payment progress.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes — the customer portal and the app are fully translated. The portal auto-detects your customer’s language and they can switch anytime; your side stays in whichever language you prefer.
What happens when a customer signs an estimate?
The drawn signature is stamped onto the estimate and its PDF with the signer’s name and time. The estimate converts to an invoice automatically, and if you asked for a deposit it’s already due on that invoice. You’re notified the moment it happens.
Does it chase late invoices for me?
Yes — that’s “automate your collections.” Flip it on and TradeBill escalates on its own as an invoice ages past due: a friendly reminder around day 7, a firmer one near day 30, a final notice by day 60 — each sent once, with the invoice number, balance, and a pay link filled in, and it stops the moment they pay. Email reminders work on every plan; text reminders (to customers who’ve agreed to texts) are a Premium feature and turn on once our sending number clears carrier registration. You control the exact wording, and your manual “Send reminder” button still works too.
How will card payments and fees work?
Card payments are built and launching soon. When they go live, your customer pays right on the portal and processing costs one flat rate — 2.90% + 30¢ on Free, 2.80% + 30¢ on Premium, 2.75% + 30¢ on Ultra — taken out of the payout, with an option to pass the fee to your customer instead. Until then, record cash, check, and Zelle payments and TradeBill tracks the balances and receipts.
Can I use it on an iPad, or in the dark at 5 a.m.?
Both. The app supports iPad split view, dark mode, VoiceOver, and Dynamic Type — and the web dashboard runs anywhere there’s a browser, so the office computer works too.
The next estimate you send could come back signed.
Pick your trade, get a starter price list, and send something today. Setup takes about a minute — and the free plan is actually free.
First estimate by voice: about ninety seconds, including the part where you clear your throat.
